Audio Visual
Jeff brings his own laptop and has a remote control that ranges 40’.
He likes to use his laptop, but always carries a USB memory stick of
his presentation as a back-up to use on yours. Your system must also
have a remote control so he can move around and engage the audience.
Jeff prefers to have a lavaliere mike for
himself and a hand-held mike for audience interaction. The hand-held
also serves as a back-up to the lavaliere.
Any loose cords should be securely taped down.
Staging
Jeff likes to have a 6’ draped table for arranging his materials and
laptop when he uses it. Jeff will need a power source to this table
for his laptop. If a podium or lecturn is used, set it back a few feet
so that Jeff can comfortably walk in front of it.
Lighting
Full lighting of the room is best so that Jeff is visible to
everyone at all times when he moves around. He is intuitive and
reads his audience. He will make the proper fine tuning adjustments,
but he needs to see the audience to do this.
The screen area may have lights above it that
need to be unscrewed to properly view the projection while leaving the
house lights on.
Recording
Jeff encourages recording because he wants his message to have the
largest reach, while also helping the audience to later reinforce what
they’ve learned. Simply contact us in advance to prepare for the best
recording, as some minor adjustments will result in a cleaner more
professional recording.
